Paramount is moving the release date of "Star Trek" from December 25th, 2008 to May 8, 2009. Not want longtime fans of the series want to hear but studio insiders said "Star Trek" has the potential to gross more in May than it would in December. Expect more release news out of Hollywood on other projects as the studios reshuffle their release schedules post writers strike.
