Here’s what’s new on Prime Video in May
May brings new Amazon Original Movies and Series including The Boy From Medellín, a documentary following reggaeton singer J Balvin as he prepares for a sold-out stadium show in his hometown of Medellín, Colombia; The Underground Railroad, a new limited series from Academy Award-winner Barry Jenkins and based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Colson Whitehead; P!nk: All I Know So Far, a documentary following award-winning musician P!NK as she embarks on her record-breaking 2019 “Beautiful Trauma” world tour; Solos, a new anthology series from Hunters creator David Weil starring Uzo Aduba, Nicole Beharie, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Anthony Mackie, Helen Mirren, Dan Stevens and Constance Wu; and Panic, a new YA drama series written and created by Lauren Oliver based on her bestselling novel of the same name.
Prime members can also enjoy movies new to Prime including Saint Maud, from A24 Films and the debut film from writer-director Rose Glass; Breach, an action-packed sci-fi thriller starring Bruce Willis; Flight, the Academy Award-nominated drama starring Denzel Washington and directed by Robert Zemeckis; and Skyfall, the third James Bond film to star Daniel Craig as 007. Along with hit movies and their respective sequels fit for a double feature movie night, including The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, starring Tom Hanks as expert symbologist Robert Langdon; Nanny Mcphee and Nanny McPhee Returns, the family fantasy films based on the Nurse Matilda character by Christianna Brand and starring Emma Thompson; and Aliens, Alien 3 and Alien: Resurrection, starring Sigourney Weaver as the iconic Ripley.
June Sneak Peek: Brazilian Originals
Coming up in June you can expect the launch of our first two Brazilian scripted originals: Dom and Manhãs de Setembro (September Mornings). Launching June 4, Dom is an epic crime drama inspired by the true story of a police officer who dedicated his life to the war on drugs and his son, who became one of the most wanted criminals in Rio de Janeiro. Manhãs de Setembro (September Mornings) is a poignant family drama about a trans woman, who, after many years finds herself reunited with the son she never knew she had.

- Hutch Mansell (Bob Odenkirk) is an underestimated and mild-mannered family man, described as being unresisting to his life’s hardships. One night two thieves break into his suburban home and he declines to defend himself or his family, hoping to prevent any serious complications. His son, Blake (Gage Munroe) and wife, Becca (Connie Nielsen) are disappointed in Hutch and begin to drift away from him. The incident ignites his resentment about being an unsubstantial father and husband; thus awakening his suppressed skills and illuminating his dark secrets.

Seattle Sounders FC on Prime Video (in Washington state)
For the second straight year, Prime Video will serve as Seattle Sounders FC’s official video streaming partner, with 20 locally broadcast MLS matches streaming this season throughout Washington state. The first game on Prime Video is May 12th when the Sounders travel to San Jose to take on the Earthquakes at 7:30pm PT. The Sounders round out the month on Prime Video by playing host to MLS newcomers Austin FC on Saturday, May 29 at 1:00pm PT.
Yankees on Prime Video (in the Tri-State area)
Prime Video will stream 21 New York Yankees games this season throughout the Tri-state area including four games in May. Yankees games on Prime Video are available at no additional cost to Prime members throughout the Yankees’ home-team footprint, which includes New York state, Connecticut, northeast Pennsylvania, and north and central New Jersey. The streams feature Amazon’s exclusive X-Ray technology, which allows fans streaming on Android, iOS mobile, and Fire TV to access live in-game stats, team and player details, and real-time play-by-play information as they watch. May’s schedule on Prime Video is as follows:
