In “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” the NCIS Camp Pendleton team tackles a sensitive and dangerous investigation after a Marine—recently selected for a classified mission—is found murdered. As Gibbs, Mike Franks, and the unit dig deeper, they uncover a web of motives that could have national security implications.

The hour also delivers several major character turns:
• Wheeler’s personal life is suddenly thrown into chaos, forcing him to confront choices he’s been avoiding.
• Lala receives unexpected news from Vera, setting the stage for an emotionally charged arc that ties back to her devastating car crash from Season 1.
• Gibbs and Diane join Randy and his wife for a double date, adding humor and character depth while continuing to explore Gibbs’ early romantic years.

Narrated by Mark Harmon and starring Austin Stowell as a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs, NCIS: Origins explores the early ’90s world that shaped one of television’s most iconic investigators. Season 2 continues to highlight the bond, grit, and loyalty of the Camp Pendleton team as they face high-risk operations and defining personal moments.
