Illumination’s Minions & Monsters will begin streaming exclusively on Peacock on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. The animated film takes James, Henry, Ed and their fellow Minions to Hollywood, where their pursuit of movie stardom unleashes monsters—and leaves them trying to save the world from the chaos they created.
Pierre Coffin directs and voices the Minions. The cast also includes Trey Parker, Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeff Bridges and Zoey Deutch. Peacock’s Minions & Monsters coverage page has more on the film.
What Is Minions & Monsters About?
Set against the spectacle of early Hollywood, the third standalone Minions film follows the little yellow troublemakers as they become movie stars, lose everything and accidentally release monsters into the world. Their attempt to fix the disaster gives them a challenge considerably bigger than making a hit film.
Minions & Monsters opened at No. 1 at the domestic box office in July. Read Seat42F’s opening weekend box office report for more on its theatrical debut.
