The King of Pop is heading to STARZ.
STARZ has announced that Michael, the record-breaking biographical drama starring Jaafar Jackson as Michael Jackson, will make its exclusive streaming debut on Sunday, August 10. The global box office phenomenon will be available on the STARZ app and all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms, with its exclusive television premiere airing the same day at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT.
After becoming the highest-grossing biopic of all time, Michael now makes the jump to streaming, giving fans another opportunity to experience the life story of one of music’s most influential performers.
A Look at the King of Pop’s Rise
From Lionsgate, Michael chronicles Michael Jackson’s remarkable journey from his early days as the breakout star of The Jackson 5 to becoming one of the biggest entertainers in music history.
The film stars Jaafar Jackson in his feature film debut as his legendary uncle and follows Jackson’s rise through unforgettable performances, groundbreaking achievements, and the personal moments that shaped the global superstar behind the music.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) and produced by Graham King, the Oscar-winning producer behind Bohemian Rhapsody, the film offers an intimate look at the life and legacy of the King of Pop.

Michael joins an expanding lineup of exclusive movies on STARZ, including The Housemaid and Shelter, both now streaming.

On the television side, new episodes of the crime drama Fightland continue every Friday throughout August, while Power Book III: Raising Kanan concludes its run with its series finale on August 7.
