Max Launches Today In Latin America And The Caribbean

Max, the entertainment destination that brings extraordinary stories for everyone, all in one place, is now available in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The enhanced streaming platform from Warner Bros. Discovery will include in the months following its launch, 37,000 hours of high-quality content across a variety of genres and formats from its extensive family of brands including HBO, Warner Bros., the DC universe, Discovery, Discovery Home & Health, ID, Cartoon Network, Discovery Kids, Cartoonito, and [adult swim].

Starting today, audiences will be able to find what they want to watch faster thanks to a robust platform with enhanced personalization features offering a differentiated and complete viewing experience for every user in the household.

Max also brings a more delightful children’s environment, introducing a default kids’ profile, and an expansive offering of content for all ages, including dedicated hubs for Cartoon Network and Discovery Kids programming.

HBO Max is now Max. HBO Max subscribers can access Max starting today while keeping the price and features of their current plan for a limited time.

Those who have subscribed directly to HBO Max with the 50% launch offer billed through HBO Max, will keep the discount as long as they comply with the terms and conditions of that promotion. Additionally, HBO Max subscribers can discover this new experience while maintaining their current profile, settings, and viewing history, continuing with their journey on Max where they left off.

In some cases, depending on the device or operating system, the HBO Max app will be automatically updated today. In other cases, when users open their HBO Max app, they will be prompted to download the new app, or will have to download the Max app from their digital store, in a simple process that will quickly allow them to start enjoying the platform experience.

After downloading Max app, HBO Max can be deleted from the device.
Today’s launch of Max in Latin America and the Caribbean marks the beginning of the platform’s international rollout, which started with its launch in the US in May 2023.
