In “The Future Is Nigh,” Olympia and her team represent Vicki (Yara Martinez), a developer fighting to gain full control of an AI-powered afterlife software company she created with her late sister. As the case unfolds, the legal and ethical stakes rise around the future of technology and ownership.
Meanwhile, Olympia attempts to repair her strained relationship with Sarah, while Matty receives a troubling call from Joey that could complicate matters even further. Elsewhere, familiar faces return as Edwin Hodge reprises his role as Langston, Remy’s cousin.
The acclaimed CBS reimagining stars Kathy Bates as Madeline “Matty” Matlock, a deceptively charming but razor-sharp attorney returning to the legal spotlight with a hidden agenda.
