HBO has released the promo and new photos for Lanterns Season 1 Episode 4, “The Weenie,” as John Stewart and Hal Jordan return to their increasingly dangerous investigation in the American heartland.
The new episode premieres Sunday, September 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
After Episode 3, “OutKast,” dug deeper into John Stewart’s past, Episode 4 brings Aaron Pierre’s John Stewart and Kyle Chandler’s Hal Jordan back into the central mystery while questions surrounding Hal’s history and the forces manipulating the two Lanterns continue to grow.
The newly released Episode 4 photos feature Pierre and Chandler alongside Kelly Macdonald and Laura Linney, offering a fresh look at the characters before tonight’s episode.

The Episode 4 promo points toward more trouble for John and Hal as the investigation continues and the secrets surrounding the Green Lantern Corps become increasingly difficult to ignore.
With the season reaching its halfway point, “The Weenie” arrives after “OutKast” expanded John’s backstory and raised even bigger questions about the forces shaping his path as a Green Lantern.
