HBO has released the official trailer for HOUSE OF THE DRAGON Season 3, offering fans their first extended look at the next chapter in the battle for the Iron Throne. The highly anticipated third season premieres Sunday, June 21 at 9:00 PM ET/PT on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, HOUSE OF THE DRAGON is set nearly 200 years before the events of GAME OF THRONES and chronicles the rise and fall of House Targaryen. Following the dramatic events of Season 2, the new trailer teases escalating conflict, shifting alliances, and even more devastating consequences as the Targaryen civil war continues.
The eight-episode third season will release new episodes weekly, culminating with the season finale on August 9.
