Harlan Coben’s Final Twist Season 2 Episode 2 photostonight, Monday, October 12, from 10:00–11:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS . Host Harlan Coben
Bonnie disappears during what should have been a routine walk to the school bus. Her body is found that afternoon in the water near a trail, and police initially rule her death a hiking accident. Karen, an Alaska State Trooper working undercover as a drug officer, sees something that makes her question that conclusion: defensive wounds on her daughter’s body.
Karen Challenges the Accident Ruling “A Mother’s Crusade” follows Karen’s effort to reopen the investigation and the 12-year pursuit of justice that follows. Her work raises a troubling question: could someone have targeted Bonnie in retaliation for one of Karen’s cases?
The episode traces investigators’ difficult leads as they work to prove murder. At the center is a mother whose observations lead her to push for another look at her daughter’s death.
This week’s case follows “Betsy’s Trust,” which opened the new season. Revisit our Season 2 Episode 1 photos for a look at the premiere.
