Hallmark Media announced today that Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has acquired hit series Drop Dead Diva, an American legal dramedy produced by Sony Pictures Television. The series, created by Josh Berman, explores the story of a vapid aspiring model who is killed in a car crash and gets brought back to life as an intelligent, high-powered lawyer, hoping to find the meaning of inner beauty.

Starring Brooke Elliot (Sweet Magnolias), Margaret Cho (Hacks), and Kate Levering (Cruel Intentions), the show will air on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on weekdays from 5p-7p beginning Monday, January 2, 2023.
