OUTRAGEOUS ACTS OF SCIENCE is celebrating its 50th episode on Wednesday (6/29) at 9pm on Science Channel. Fifty episodes means 1000 clips and countless hours spent laughing, cringing or gawking at the internet’s amateur scientists.
To mark the occasion, OAS presents a countdown of clips that are especially wild and wonderful. This clip from “Wild Things” is a perfect example. Remember that scene in Apocalypse Now where Marlon Brando claims he saw a snail crawl along a razor’s edge? Well, in this clip a team of scientists breaks down and explains a video in which slugs and snails do exactly that!
