GOLD RUSH kicks off its landmark 7th season on Friday, October 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on the Discovery Channel. To celebrate, Discovery announced that it is giving a lucky fan a chance to take home a portion of the loot in its ‘Get Your Cut Sweepstakes.’
The contest will officially launch the following week after the season premiere on Friday, October 21. Fans will have a chance to enter each week by watching GOLD RUSH and entering the final gold tally collected in each episode on the contest website. The more fans watch, the more chances they have to take home the big cash payout at the end of the season.

This season, the miners are taking even greater risks in hopes of finding more gold than ever before. Twenty-one-year-old Parker Schnabel returns and plans to go lean and mean in an attempt to make his biggest profit yet. Meanwhile, Todd Hoffman takes the biggest gamble of his life, turning his back on the Klondike and moving his entire operation to Oregon. Todd is on a quest for huge nuggets at the High Bar mine. It’s a bold move – with Todd so confident that he sets an ambitious 5,000 ounce goal – more than 2,000 ounces than his best-ever total. And finally “The Viking” Tony Beets is back and doubling down by investing $2 million in resurrecting a second historic gold dredge – twice as big as his first.
