Emotions run high in Doc Season 2 Episode 6, titled “Saints & Sinners,” airing Friday, November 7 (8:00–9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The latest installment of the acclaimed medical drama finds Dr. Amy Larsen (Molly Parker) treating a Chaplain whose visit forces her to confront painful memories from her past, while Dr. Michael Hamda (Omar Metwally) comes under investigation for his controversial actions during a recent hostage crisis.
Meanwhile, Dr. TJ Coleman (Patrick Walker) returns to work and takes on a difficult patient — a prisoner in need of care — testing his empathy and judgment. At the same time, Hannah’s brother arrives with a plan that threatens to upend the fragile stability within the hospital team.
About the Series
Inspired by a true story and based on the award-winning Italian medical drama Doc – Nelle tue mani, Doc is a life-affirming series about recovery, memory, and second chances. The show follows Dr. Amy Larsen, a brilliant Chief of Internal Medicine whose world is turned upside down after a brain injury wipes out the last eight years of her life.
After the accident, Amy must rediscover her purpose while navigating fractured relationships, professional challenges, and a hospital that has changed without her. Through each case, she reconnects with her calling to heal others — and herself — one patient at a time.
Her world is populated by familiar faces with complicated histories: her ex-husband Dr. Michael Hamda (Omar Metwally), her best friend Dr. Gina Walker (Amirah Vann), and Dr. Jake Heller (Jon Ecker), a man she once loved but no longer remembers. Not everyone is thrilled by her return — including Dr. Richard Miller (Scott Wolf) and Dr. Sonya Maitra (Anya Banerjee) — whose secrets could destroy everything Amy has rebuilt.
