DC Studios Unveils First Trailer for Clayface, a Chilling New Horror Thriller

The DC Universe is stepping into darker territory.

DC Studios has released the first official trailer for Clayface, offering a haunting look at its upcoming horror thriller centered on one of Gotham City’s most tragic and terrifying villains. Directed by James Watkins, the film stars Tom Rhys Harries as Clayface and promises a psychological descent unlike anything audiences have seen from DC Studios before.

A Different Kind of DC Movie

Rather than delivering a traditional superhero adventure, Clayface embraces psychological horror, telling the story of a rising Hollywood actor whose life spirals into unimaginable terror.

According to the official synopsis:

Clayface follows one man’s horrifying transformation from an up-and-coming Hollywood star into a revenge-driven monster. Along the way, the film explores identity, humanity, obsessive love, and the dangerous consequences of scientific ambition.

It’s the first time DC Studios has fully embraced the horror genre, giving one of Batman’s most iconic villains a standalone story rooted in suspense and psychological terror.

Tom Rhys Harries headlines the film as the tragic title character alongside an accomplished supporting cast that includes:
