CIA Season 2 Episode 4 photos preview “Black Tie Optional,” airing tonight, Monday, October 26, from 9:01–10:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Tom Ellis returns as Colin Glass alongside Nick Gehlfuss as Bill Goodman, with Necar Zadegan and Natalee Linez rounding out the principal ensemble.
The team trades its usual surroundings for a high-end gala as a prominent investor begins selling highly sensitive information to Korean agents. Going undercover becomes essential to stopping a deadly invasion, while Bill faces troubling discoveries about his father’s past.
What Is “Black Tie Optional” About?
A formal event provides the setting for this week’s operation. The agents must get close enough to investigate the investor’s activities while maintaining the identities that allow them into the gathering.
A TV Insider sneak peek shows Colin attending as someone’s date and Bill posing as a journalist. Their covers give the partners different ways to approach the evening, with their familiar banter continuing during the assignment.
Bill’s family storyline also moves forward as he wrestles with new information about his father. The official synopsis leaves the discoveries themselves unrevealed, keeping that part of the episode separate from the immediate gala operation.
Geoffrey Arend Appears in “Black Tie Optional”
Geoffrey Arend appears as a science and technology analyst working with the team. The sneak peek introduces his contribution over communications during Colin and Bill’s undercover assignment.
