Chad Powers is heading back to the field, and Hulu has released new Season 2 photos ahead of the comedy’s return.
The complete second season premieres Thursday, September 3 on Hulu, with Glen Powell returning as Russ Holliday — and his increasingly difficult-to-maintain alter ego, Chad Powers. Hulu is releasing all six episodes of the new season at once.
Season 2 finds Chad becoming a superstar on the field while his unusual behavior away from it begins raising suspicions. Coach Hudson and Gerry are increasingly convinced that something isn’t right, putting even more pressure on Russ to keep his elaborate deception alive.
With the walls closing in, Russ and Danny need Chad to survive the regular season and lead the South Georgia Catfish to the College Football Playoff. Their best chance may be Ricky — who already knows the truth and happens to be the last person interested in helping them.
Powell returns as Russ Holliday/Chad Powers alongside Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia Yeager, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny and Steve Zahn as Coach Jake Hudson.

When Does Chad Powers Season 2 Premiere?
All six episodes of Chad Powers Season 2 premiere Thursday, September 3 on Hulu.
The half-hour comedy was created by Glen Powell and Michael Waldron and is based on the Chad Powers character originally created by Eli Manning for the ESPN+ series Eli’s Places. Powell and Waldron executive produce, with Eli Manning and Peyton Manning among the series’ executive producers.
