Boston Blue Season 1 Episode 4, titled “Rites of Passage,” brings an emotional and gripping hour of television as the Silver family gathers to observe Yahrzeit on the one-year anniversary of patriarch Ben Silver’s death. The episode airs Friday, Nov. 7 (10:00–11:00 PM ET/PT) on CBS and streams live and on-demand on Paramount+ for Premium subscribers (next-day for Essential).
While the Silver family honors Ben’s memory, Lena Silver and Danny Reagan launch an investigation into the murder of a beloved local shop owner , uncovering clues that point toward deeper motives within the community. As tensions rise, the case challenges Lena and Danny to balance family responsibilities with the weight of justice in Boston’s tightly connected neighborhoods.
Meanwhile, Police Superintendent Sarah Silver responds to an escalating hostage crisis , forcing her to make life-or-death decisions under immense pressure. At the same time, District Attorney Mae Silver faces a difficult legal choice that could fracture the Silver family’s unity—and reshape her role as a leader within Boston’s justice system.
