The world of Avatar Legends made its long-awaited Hall H debut at San Diego Comic-Con, delivering exciting news for fans of both the beloved franchise’s past and future.
During the packed panel, Paramount+ officially announced that the all-new animated series Avatar: Seven Havens will premiere Friday, October 9, while also debuting the series’ first teaser. The presentation also celebrated the upcoming streaming debut of Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, which arrives on Paramount+ on Saturday, July 25.

Avatar: Seven Havens Introduces a New Avatar
Created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, Avatar: Seven Havens takes place after the events of The Legend of Korra and follows an entirely new Avatar.
The 26-episode animated series centers on Pavi, a young Earthbender who discovers she has inherited the mantle of Avatar following Korra. But this is a world unlike any seen before. A devastating cataclysm has shattered civilization, and rather than being viewed as humanity’s greatest hope, the new Avatar is feared as its potential destroyer.
As powerful enemies from both the human and spirit worlds close in, Pavi and her long-lost twin sister must uncover the truth behind their mysterious past while fighting to save the Seven Havens—the last remaining strongholds of civilization.
The series will be split into two 13-episode chapters: Book 1 and Book 2.
Voice Cast
Starring: Saheli Khan, Aishu Devan, Akshay Khanna, Major Curda, Sakina Jaffrey, Darren Barnet, Dianne Doan, and Dee Bradley Baker.
Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko serve as co-creators and executive producers, with Ethan Spaulding executive producing and Sehaj Sethi serving as co-executive producer.
Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender Also Takes the Stage
Hall H attendees also got an inside look at Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, which premieres globally on Paramount+ on July 25.
The panel featured cast members Eric Nam, Dave Bautista, Román Zaragoza, Jessica Matten, and Dionne Quan, along with co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, director Lauren Montgomery, and moderator Janet Varney, the original voice of Korra.
Fans were treated to behind-the-scenes stories about bringing the original Team Avatar into adulthood and the creative process behind the animated feature film.

The celebration didn’t stop with television and film.
Fans also learned that Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Additional announcements included new dates for The Legend of Korra in Concert, a first look at the Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender soundtrack artwork, the Art of the Movie book cover, and the upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender Book 3 vinyl release.
With Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender arriving this weekend and Avatar: Seven Havens now officially set for October 9, the future of the Avatar universe has never looked brighter.
