FX’s American Horror Story Season 13 just added a major new name to its cast.
Paul Anthony Kelly, fresh off his breakout performance as John F. Kennedy Jr. in Ryan Murphy’s Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, has officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated 13th installment of American Horror Story, set to premiere this fall on FX and stream on Hulu.
The surprise casting announcement was revealed during The Walt Disney Company’s annual Upfront presentation in New York, where several fan-favorite American Horror Story stars — Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Billie Lourd, and Emma Roberts — appeared onstage surrounded by hooded Druids in a theatrical reveal fitting the franchise’s signature horror aesthetic.
Kelly then emerged from the shadows to confirm his casting, joking, “I guess every nightmare needs fresh blood…and thirteen’s my lucky number.”
