American Horror Story: 13 Sets Official Companion Podcast on Hulu

FX is giving American Horror Story: 13 its own official companion podcast, with a four-episode video series arriving on Hulu alongside the franchise’s 13th installment. The AHS: 13 Official Podcast will bring cast and key members of the creative team together to discuss the new season as it unfolds.

The first episode arrives Thursday, September 24, the same day AHS: 13 premieres on FX and Hulu. Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Joey Pollari and Paul Anthony Kelly are among the talent set to interview one another, while costume and production design contributors Lou Eyrich, Catherine Crabtree and Anu Schwartz will also take part.

For a franchise that has always invited viewers to comb through costumes, sets, returning characters and long-running mythology for clues, the companion show should be a particularly fun way to follow the new season. The podcast will also give the team room to discuss the creative choices behind the horror without forcing every conversation into a conventional aftershow format.

When Do New AHS: 13 Official Podcast Episodes Arrive?

• Episode 1 — September 24: Sarah Paulson and Paul Anthony Kelly
• Episode 2 — October 1: Emma Roberts and Joey Pollari
• Episode 3 — October 8: Emma Roberts with costume designers Lou Eyrich and Catherine Crabtree
• Episode 4 — October 15: Paul Anthony Kelly with production designer Anu Schwartz

The video version of the AHS: 13 Official Podcast will be available on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for U.S. bundle subscribers, as well as Disney+ internationally and YouTube. Audio-only episodes will be available through Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other podcast platforms. FX is producing the podcast in partnership with AT WILL MEDIA.

FX has already released both the video trailer and an audio trailer for the new companion series.

What to Expect From American Horror Story: 13

Created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, American Horror Story returns with a major all-star ensemble. Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Joey Pollari and Jessica Lange lead the 13th installment, with Avantika, Jamie Brewer, Elle Chapman, Berto Colon, Alex Consani, Frances Conroy, Mat Fraser, Seth Gabel, Orlando Jones, Paul Anthony Kelly, John Carroll Lynch, Tig Notaro, Madelaine Petsch, Fedor Steer, Mena Suvari, Zach Villa and John Waters also featured.

The new season will have 13 half-hour episodes. FX and Hulu will release three episodes during premiere week, followed by three more in week two. After that, episodes will arrive in pairs each Thursday through the 13th and final episode on October 29—just in time for Halloween.

With familiar names from across the franchise returning and the podcast pairing performers with the artists who make its worlds look so distinctive, AHS: 13 is building a full fan experience around its biggest number yet.
