Abbott Elementary Season 6 Episode 3 photos preview “Tryouts,” airing tonight, Wednesday, October 21, from 8:30–9:01 p.m. EDT on ABC. Quinta Brunson returns as Janine Teagues alongside Tyler James Williams, Chris Perfetti, Lisa Ann Walter and Sheryl Lee Ralph as the school welcomes a new face and the step team pursues a bigger opportunity.
Tonight’s episode follows three storylines: the step team’s competition tryout, Melissa and Barbara’s special education certification course, and a substitute’s arrival at Abbott.
The step team tries to qualify for a major competition, giving the students a chance to take their work beyond Abbott. Meanwhile, Melissa Schemmenti and Barbara Howard take a special education certification course, putting the longtime teachers on the learning side of the classroom.
Janine, Gregory Eddie and Jacob Hill have a separate introduction to make as they welcome a new substitute. ABC’s preview does not identify the newcomer or reveal how the visit goes.
