The 2026 MTV Video Music Awards winners are in, and Madonna led the night with seven wins. She took Artist of the Year and Best Collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter for “Bring Your Love,” while “Confessions II – The Film” collected wins across dance, cinematography, choreography and long-form video. Her album Confessions II also won Best Album.
Taylor Swift won Video of the Year for “The Fate of Ophelia” and Best Direction for “Opalite.” She also received the inaugural MTV VMA Artist Director Honors. BTS won Song of the Year and Best K-Pop for “SWIM,” along with Best Group, while Sienna Spiro was named Best New Artist.
Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the ceremony aired Sunday, September 27, from Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater on CBS and MTV. Here is the complete winners list provided for this year’s show.
