Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan are preparing for an elaborate European heist in Apple TV’s upcoming thriller 12 12 12, and we now have our first look at the action.
Apple TV has released the first teaser and a new collection of first-look photos from the eight-episode drama, offering an early look at Mackie and Dornan’s European cat-and-mouse game ahead of the series premiere on November 13, 2026.
Mackie stars as a disgraced FBI agent opposite Dornan as an American career criminal, putting the two on opposite sides of a cat-and-mouse game stretching across Europe.
At the center of everything is an audacious raid on a bank vault buried beneath the streets of Zurich.

The title comes directly from the series’ unusual structure.
Every episode unfolds across three different timelines surrounding the same heist: the 12 months spent planning it, the 12 hours of the heist itself and the 12 days that follow.
That gives 12 12 12 an interesting wrinkle beyond the usual cops-versus-criminals setup. Rather than simply building toward the robbery, the series can simultaneously reveal how the plan came together, what went wrong during its execution and how the consequences reshape everything viewers thought they understood.
Mackie and Dornan have also worked together before, appearing opposite each other in the 2019 film Synchronic. Dornan recently described 12 12 12 as a cat-and-mouse heist thriller spanning multiple continents and said reuniting with Mackie made the production particularly enjoyable.

Along with the teaser, Apple TV unveiled the first photos from 12 12 12, giving viewers an early look at Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan in the new thriller, along with several members of the ensemble cast.
Who Stars In 12 12 12?
Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan lead an ensemble that also includes Jack Kesy, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen, José Garcia and Kali Reis.
The series was created by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble, who also serve as executive producers.
Kari Skogland directs multiple episodes, including the pilot, and executive produces. Her previous credits include The Falcon and the Winter Soldier — which also starred Mackie — and The Handmaid’s Tale.
Mackie and Dornan executive produce alongside Samantha Corbin-Miller, David Knoller and Jason Spire.

When Does 12 12 12 Premiere On Apple TV?
12 12 12 premieres globally on Friday, November 13, 2026 on Apple TV.
The first two episodes will be available at launch, followed by one new episode every Friday through the eight-episode season finale on December 25, 2026.
With its three-timeline structure, European locations and Mackie and Dornan playing opposite sides of an elaborate Zurich heist, 12 12 12 has the ingredients for one of Apple TV’s more intriguing new thrillers this fall.
