Preschoolers can kick off their summer by joining the Wonder Pets on their very first sleepover in the all-new DVD release, The Wonder Pets!: Ollie’s Slumber Party!. The new-to-DVD nighttime adventure features eight mini-episodes from the Emmy award-winning series and bonus material including “Here’s Ollie” music video. Created by Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment, The Wonder Pets!: Ollie’s Slumber Party! will be available on June 9, 2009 for the suggested retail price of $16.99.
In the featured episode, “Here’s Ollie!,” the Wonder Pets’ new friend, Ollie the Bunny, invites the gang to spend the night in his warren. Since this is their very first slumber party, Ming-Ming is reluctant, but Linny persuades everyone that it will be fun to spend the night underground. However, Ollie is so excited to have the Wonder Pets sleep over that he cannot fall asleep. The Wonder Pets use teamwork and sheep costumes to help Ollie count sheep and soon Ollie falls fast asleep.
Also available on June 9th, is the all-new Nick Jr. DVD compilation, Celebrate Family. The release includes family-themed episodes from preschool’s most popular shows including Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go!, The Wonder Pets!, Yo Gabba Gabba!, Blue’s Clues and Ni Hao, Kai-lan.
