Wheel of Fortune To Kick Off Season 26 In Hawaii

Wheel of Fortune, America’s #1 game show and syndicated series, will kick off season 26 on Hawaii’s Big Island.  Show host Pat Sajak, co-host Vanna White, and the entire Los Angeles-based crew will set up shop at the Hilton Waikoloa Village on September 12, 13, 15 and 16 to tape four weeks of shows.

Over the course of the four days in September, thousands of fans will have the opportunity to be in the studio audience for the tapings when the hotel’s Ocean Terrace will be temporarily transformed into a little slice of Hollywood and the scene will be set for cries of “big money.”

Beginning Monday, July 21 and continuing through Friday, August 8, Wheel of Fortune viewers will have a chance to obtain free tickets to see the tapings.  Information and online applications can be found at www.KHON2.com.

Wheel of Fortune begins its 26th season on September 8, 2008.  The show is the highest-rated show in syndication and the only syndicated program to deliver more than 10 million viewers a day.
