The Spiderwick Chronicles DVD Review

Seat42f Says: While I liked some of the movie I still struggle to stay foccused with all of these new films relying too heavily on CGI characters. I truly do appreciate the time and effort that goes into creating these CGI characters, but to me they have just become distracting over the years. I'd much rather see Yoda from the original Star Wars trilogy then the computer generated version this generation of movie goers was stuck with. Freddie Highmore delivers a double dose here playing twins Jared and Simon and there is some fun to be found in the movie. Fans of the books and parents looking for a summer family rental should be pleasantly surprised with The Spiderwick Chronicles.
