Meet Tim, an ordinary 20-something New Yorker who can’t seem to catch a break in The Life & Times of Tim: The Complete First Season. Simplistic in style, this offbeat, animated late-night comedy series from HBO® belies a wickedly subversive and sophisticated adult sense of humor – all the creation of Steve Dildarian (the Clio-winning co- creator behind Budweiser’s memorable “Lizards” TV campaign) who is also the director, writer and voice of Tim. Out in stores on February 9, 2010, with release timed to the premiere of the series’ second season on HBO, the DVD includes all ten half-hour episodes, each with two segments, plus 10 hilarious bonus shorts.
Called “deliciously over the top” by the The Hollywood Reporter and “wildly absurd…difficult to resist” by Daily Variety, The Life & Times of Tim: The Complete First Season depicts an average guy who just wants to get ahead at work, and whose live-in girlfriend wants him to be normal – just like all of her friends’ boyfriends. But in Tim’s world, the simplest day-to-day decisions seem to get in the way, thanks to his propensity towards befriending unreliable characters. Full of misadventures and misunderstandings, each episode brings new and unenviable dilemmas to light.
Other voices in the show include Mary Jane Otto as Tim’s long-suffering girlfriend Amy, Peter Giles as The Boss, Matt Johnson as The Boss’ assistant Rodney, and Nick Kroll as Tim’s best friend Stu.
