Burton is a rare filmmaker who has successfully crossed these genres and Spike TV is thrilled to honor him with the 2008 SCREAM Immortal Award.
Wes Craven, the genius behind “The Hills Have Eyes,” “Swamp Thing,” the “SCREAM” franchise and “The Nightmare on Elm Street,” will be presented with this year’s SCREAM Mastermind Award. This award is presented to a filmmaker whose unique vision of horror, science fiction and/or fantasy has been deemed important, critically-acclaimed and culturally significant.
