Spike TV Announces 2010 GUYS CHOICE Winners

Winners were announced on Saturday night during the fourth annual tribute to all things male, as Spike TV “Guys Choice” was held at the Sony Studios in Los Angeles.  The star studded celebration of testosterone premieres on Spike TV Sunday, June 20 (10:00 PM-Midnight ET/PT).

Sandra Bullock shocked everyone in attendance as she strode on stage to accept the Troops Choice” Award for Entertainer of The Year.  She was greeted with an extended standing ovation as she appeared on stage with representatives of the US Army, the US Marine Corps and the US Coast Guard.  The Academy Award winner made her first public appearance since the Oscars, where she won for Best Actress for her role in “The Blind Side.”

The entire audience served as witnesses to the ceremony in which Robert De Niro and Ray Liotta became Made Men, as both were on hand to accept “GoodFellas” induction into the “Guy Movie Hall of Fame” from presenter and three time Emmy Award-winner, James Gandolfini.

Also on hand was South African stunner Charlize Theron, who accepted the “Decade of Hotness” award from presenter Ben Affleck.  Additionally, twenty years since his “Saturday Night Live” debut, four Emmy Awards and three Grammy Awards later, Chris Rock was named “Funniest M.F.”

George Clooney was the recipient of the night’s top honor, as the debonair Academy Award nominated star of “Up In The Air” was voted “Guy of the Year” by Spike TV viewers, beating out breakout star of “The Hangover,” Zach Galifianakis, in the process.

In addition, Leonardo DiCaprio made a rare public appearance as he was on hand, along with co-star Joseph Gordon Levitt and director Christopher Nolan, to accept the “Most Manticipated Movie” award for the forthcoming “Inception.”

Spike TV’s “Guys Choice” featured talent including: Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Brooklyn Decker, Robert Downey, Jr., LeBron James, Scarlett Johansson, Kid Rock, Marisa Miller, Liam Neeson, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Georges St-Pierre, Kiefer Sutherland, Triumph The Insult Comic Dog, and many more.
