The BBC is bringing the hit teen series Skins back with the release of Skins: Volume 3. Featuring a new ensemble cast, the new season kicks off a new year at Roundview College with best friends Freddie (Luke Pasqualino), JJ (Ollie Barbieri), and Cook (Jack O’Connell, This Is England, Wuthering Heights) vying for the attention of new queen bee Effy (Kaya Scodelario, Clash of the Titans, Moon). Identical twins Katie (Megan Prescott, Doctors) and Emily (Kathryn Prescott, Doctors) aren’t as similar as they look – Katie wants to gain her individuality, and when Emily is abandoned by her, she finds a friend in the beautiful idealist Naomi (Lily Loveless). All the while, Pandora (Lisa Backwell), the group’s sweetheart, finds love with Thomas (Merveille Lukeba, The Bill, Ezra), but may be in for a surprise as this relationship could be over before it has begun. Along with the new season’s cast, this fresh semester of Skins includes guest star appearances by Mackenzie Crook (The Office, Pirates of the Caribbean), Rich Fulcher (The Mighty Boosh) and Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary). The 3-disc set contains the entire third season along with bonus materials including Video Diaries, Behind-the-Scenes and Skins Stories.
