Whatever you do tonight, make sure that you are watching or taping or planning to watching the first two episodes of Season 4 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.  It is one of the funniest shows on television and their first two episodes do not disappoint.

In the season premiere, titled “Mac and Dennis: Manhunters”, Mac and Dennis set out to prove that no matter what they’re hunting, they are both incredibly awesome.  Thanks to Frank, Charlie and Dee inadvertently eat a mysterious piece of meat and worry that they are quickly becoming cannibals.  As an added bonus, and one of the best things about this show, they keep bringing back their old guest stars in new and insane ways.  This week’s guest star is Rickety Cricket in the episode directed by Fred Savage!

The second half hour of the premiere block is one of the funniest, laugh out loud, episodes of this show that I’ve ever seen.  Called “The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis,” Mac, Dennis, and Charlie set out to screw it to the oil companies.  The storyline involves nudity, Texan accents, creative ways to transport gas, and some of the greatest Charlie moments on screen.  Frank and Dee stalk Bruce Mathis (Reverend Camden himself who only makes an appearance in picture form) so that they can get all of Dennis and Dee’s money back.  The way the team ends up back together and the hilarity that ensues when they do is brilliant.
