You Don’t Want To Miss This Moving Hour Of TV!
But Lifetime, boy do they know how to rope me in! They sent me the season premiere of Season 2, and after watching what they have in store, I think my TiVo is going to have to deal with yet another Series Recording (on top of the 37 it already has).
The first hour back deals with the aftermath of the bombing at the Hump Bar where the Army Wives (and 1 series regular Husband) were hanging out. The writers have been heard saying that they built it up as this big thing where they knew that everyone couldn’t get out alive. Knowing that going into the episode, I didn’t know what to expect. And I have to give credit to this show for throwing me for a loop and having me in tears before the episode was over!
I don’t want to give much anything away, but the ladies I this show have honestly never been better. Kim Delaney as Claudia Joy (horrible lip injections or Botox® injections aside) is fabulous in this hour, as is Brigid Brannagh as Pamela, who suffers from survivors’ guilt. There is great movement on the Roland and Joan front and the Roxy and Trevor side-story is quite good and relevant to what a lot of people are going through right now.
Make sure to set your DVR for Sunday night at 10 on Lifetime – you don’t want to miss this moving hour of TV!
