Every television psychic needs a dark secret and Shawn Spencer has a doozy in Psych: The Complete First Season, coming to DVD on June 26, 2007 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. James Roday (The Dukes of Hazzard) plays Spencer, a slacker savant who uses his potent powers of observation to convince local law enforcement officials he has a hotline to the great beyond. Dulé Hill (“The West Wing”) as his straight-laced partner, Gus. Corbin Bernsen (“LA Law”), Tim Omundson (“Judging Amy”), Maggie Lawson (“Party of Five”) and Kirsten Nelson (War of the Worlds) round out the talented cast. Psych: The Complete First Season includes every episode of USA Network’s wildly inventive comedy-mystery hybrid, as well as the extended, international version of the show’s pilot.
