A one-hour drama series based on DC characters created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger, Pennyworth is an origin story that follows Bruce Wayne’s legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth. A former British SAS soldier in his 20s, he forms a security company and goes to work with Thomas Wayne, Bruce’s billionaire father, in 1960s London. From executive producers Bruno Heller (Gotham, The Mentalist, Rome) and Danny Cannon (Gotham, CSI series), who also directed the pilot, Pennyworth stars Jack Bannon (The Imitation Game, Ripper Street) as Alfred, Ben Aldridge (Fleabag, Skinny Dip) as Thomas Wayne, multi-award-winning recording artist Paloma Faith (Peter & Wendy, Doctor Parnassus) as Bet Sykes, Ryan Fletcher (Outlander, Shetland) as Dave Boy, Hainsley Lloyd Bennett (Casualty, Eastenders) as Bazza, Emma Paetz (Gentleman Jack, Press) as Martha Kane, Dorothy Atkinson (Mum, Harlots) as Mrs. Pennyworth, Emma Corrin (The Crown) as Esme, and Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Journey, The Missing) as Lord Harwood. Series stars Jack Bannon, Ben Aldridge, and Paloma Faith and executive producers Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon will present a special look at this exciting new origin series, followed by a Q&A. Pennyworth, which is produced by Warner Horizon Scripted Television, premieres Sunday, July 28, at 10/9c on EPIX.
