The drama between Brooke and her mom heats up this week as Brooke makes a big decision about her finances. Maybe Brooke will finally grow a backbone and do what she thinks is right.

Brooke visits Victoria in prison and tells her that she has decided to sell her company and give up her personal fortune so that she can pay back all of her investors. Her mom explodes and tells her that she doesn’t like this version of her and that she doesn’t want her to visit again.  Brooke leaves and goes to a bridge where Hailey finds her.  She explains everything to Hailey and Hailey tells her that this isn’t her fault.  Brooke tells her that all of the things she’s done in her life, the clothing line and fame, has all been to make her mother love her.

Jamie tells Nathan he needs to quit avoiding things and tell Clay about his back.  Nathan goes to the hospital and Clay tells him he will now be represented by his old employer. Nathan tells him he won’t be playing basketball anymore because of his back getting worse. Clay takes it really well and lets him know that family should come first. Nathan says it’s not a good idea for Clay’s old employer to represent his clients.

Julian starts a documentary about Brooke and her company’s collapse and about Mouth and his daily life. Julian tells Mouth he wants to film him in his normal everyday life. Mouth agrees but ends up coming out in a suit and tie and pretends that he has lots of job opportunities. Chase calls him and asks him to bartend for him, but Mouth is trying so hard to look important that he blows Chase off. Chase is obviously very confused when Mouth says no and hangs up.  Julian tells Mouth that he wants footage of the ‘real’ Mouth. Mouth comes out in his pajamas and watches infomercials. Well this should be one interesting documentary.

At TRIC, Hailey and Brooke arrive and Mia asks them if they think Chase and Alex are sleeping together. Hailey says no way but Brooke says definitely yes. Mia brings out an Alex voodoo doll. She is not taking their relationship well. Hailey tells her she is going to set up a show to get her out of town and Chase out of her mind.

Quinn visits Clay and they discuss how great it will be to be home together and wake up next to one another every morning. Clay and Quinn leave the hospital together and everyone is waiting outside clapping and throwing confetti. Yay! They return to the beach house and at first things are uneasy but they decide things will be ok.

Chase asks Alex about the script she’s reading.  She says it’s just something she’s considering, but later Chase looks at it and it’s highlighted and has notes written in it. He confronts her and she admits that she took the part and has to leave next week.  He tells her that he can’t be with someone that isn’t going to tell him the truth and walks out. Right on!

Nathan’s new agent calls and Nathan tells him that he’s retiring. The agent pushes Nathan and tells him he should risk it and play because he just signed a new contract.  Nathan goes to the hospital and tells Clay that he shouldn’t let his old employer take over his clients. He offers to help Clay with his clients. Agent Nathan? I think this would be a good direction and would give him and Clay an opp to still work together.

Brooke goes through her wedding planning book and starts taking out all the pages of things she can no longer afford. Julian comes home and she tells him all about what happened with her mom. He tells her how screwed up it is and that she should let her mom know she’s not going to put up with it. She goes to see her mom again and tells her that all her life she’s just wanted her to be proud of her but that for the first time in her life she just doesn’t care and won’t put up with it anymore.

Brooke and Nathan speak at their individual press conferences. Brooke explains that she hopes that by paying back all of her investors they will hopefully someday believe in her again.  Nathan  announces that he is retiring and that a full length interview about it is available at Mouth McFadden’s website.

Next week Katie, the psycho who shot Quinn and Clay, comes back for Halloween.  Where has she been and why haven’t the police been looking for her?
