Lifetime will honor the late Whitney Houston with a presentation of her major motion picture The Bodyguard, also starring Kevin Costner, on Monday, February 13, at 8:00pm ET/PT. Immediately following, at 11:00pm ET/PT, Lifetime will air its unscripted series America’s Supernanny.
In 1992’s The Bodyguard, a former secret service agent (Costner) serves as bodyguard for a mega pop superstar-turned actress (Houston). In the course of protecting the star, they develop a trust and love that is rare for both. The film received Academy® and Grammy® Award nominations for its songs “I Have Nothing” and “Run to You.”
