HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER will launch its third season (Monday, Sept. 24 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT) with a broad array of interactive initiatives designed to engage and grow its youthful and passionate fan base. The initiatives will include exclusive promotional short-form video content available on the web via the show's MySpace profile (www.MySpace.com/HowIMetYourMother) and the CBS Audience Network among other online platforms, mobile ringtones and voicetones, and full episodes from the first three seasons available for download on iTunes and Amazon Unbox.
Remarked HIMYM co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, "We'd love to take advantage of every opportunity to expand the visibility of our show. New technologies allow shows to be ubiquitous in ways never before possible. We want to be at the forefront of that. If you can download shows on the Internet, we want to be downloadable. If you can watch a show on your phone, we want to be there. When microchip brain implants come along, we want to be first in line."
