The hilarious comedy Fired Up! debuts on DVD and high definition Blu-ray Disc on June 9, 2009 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. All the hilarity and hijinks can be enjoyed on DVD in the original theatrical format for $28.96 SLP for DVD and $24.94 SLP for PSP, or for an extra dose of comedy cheer, in an unrated cut deemed too hot for theaters available on Blu-ray Disc™ for $39.95 SLP or DVD for $28.96 SLP .

When two randy football players (Nicholas D’Agosto and Eric Christian Olsen) finagle their way into summer cheer camp, they find themselves tossed into a world filled with pyramids, pompoms and push-up bras. Soon the high stakes, stunts and cacophonous cheers begin to infect the boys, and their hot pursuit of alpha cheerleaders — Sarah Roemer (Disturbia) and AnnaLynne McCord (TV’s “90210”) — becomes more than just carnal cavorting.

Included on all three editions is an insider commentary from the Director Will Gluck and stars Nick D’Agosto (TV’s “Heroes”) and Eric Christian Olsen (TV’s “Brothers & Sisters”); a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the film in two featurettes: “This is Not a Cheerleading Movie: The Making of Fired Up” and “Double Duty”; plus a hilarious Gag Reel. The Unrated disc steps it up a notch with more footage not shown in theaters, an uncensored version of the Gag Reel as well as never-before-seen footage from the Fired Up! press junket. The Blu-ray includes both the theatrical and unrated versions of the film plus a Digital Copy of the film for PC, PSP, Mac or iPod.

Fired Up! Synopsis

The guys are having the time of their lives as they use their new reputation as “sensitive guys” to talk the hotties into skinny dipping, cheering naked, and hooking up. But when Shawn falls for the gorgeous head cheerleader who’ s suspicious of their motives, the players must change their game to prove Shawn’ s intentions before the thrilling cheer competition finals.
