E! Announces A Third Season Pick Up For Keeping Up With The Kardashians

E! Entertainment Television announces a third season pick-up for its hit half-hour reality series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."  The series, which is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bunim-Murray Productions, takes viewers inside the crazy, sexy lives of one of Hollywood's most talked about families.

The second season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," which aired this spring on E!, ranked as the number one original series among women 18-34 in its premiere Sunday night timeslot against all other ad-supported cable networks.  The series scored its most-watched telecast ever on May 4, 2008 averaging over 1.7 million total viewers. Season three will debut first quarter 2009

"E! viewers have embraced the Kardashian family and the series has become one of television's most talked about shows," said Lisa Berger, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Series Development for E! "We are fortunate to work with Seacrest and Bunim-Murray who have an exceptional ability to capture the Kardashians' hilarious, chaotic and always entertaining personalities and family dynamics.  There is never a shortage on drama and we are certain the new season will be another wild ride."

This modern day blended household, run by boisterous momager Kris and low-key Olympic icon Bruce Jenner, is frenzied and dramatic but always entertaining, and at its core is an everyday family that truly loves and supports one another.  Kim, one of Hollywood's fastest rising stars, along with her sisters Kourtney and Khloe, have become staples on the hip LA social scene, while still juggling their busy careers and family commitments.  Younger brother Robert, Jr., and rambunctious step-sisters Kylie and Kendall, round out the Kardashian clan, as E! takes viewers back behind-the-scenes of this famous Southern California family.

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" was created by Ryan Seacrest and Eliot Goldberg who serve as Executive Producers for Ryan Seacrest Productions.  Jon Murray and Jeff Jenkins serve as Executive Producers for Bunim-Murray.
