Today at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2017, Starz surprised “Outlander” fans with the world premiere of Season Three by screening episode 301. “The Battle Joined,” written by showrunner Ronald D. Moore and directed by Brendan Maher. The unexpected screening followed the previously announced “Outlander” panel, moderated by actress and dancer Jenna Dewan Tatum. Panelists included: Ronald D. Moore (executive producer), Maril Davis (executive producer), Diana Gabaldon (author), Caitriona Balfe (Claire Randall Fraser), Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser), Tobias Menzies (Black Jack Randall/Frank Randall), Sophie Skelton (Brianna Randall) and Richard Rankin (Roger Wakefield). “Outlander” Season Three will premiere on Sunday, September 10th at 8pm ET/PT on STARZ.
