COMEDY CENTRAL Gets Patriotic With the World Premiere of ‘Loni Love: America’s Sister’ Debuts Saturday, May 8 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT

Warning: some vegetarians may be offended by the material in this special!  From President Obama to Taylor Swift, Loni Love leaves little untouched in the World Premiere of her one-hour stand-up special, “Loni Love: America’s Sister,” debuting on Saturday, May 8 at 11:00 p.m.

No one is safe!  COMEDY CENTRAL brings the host of “E!’s Wildest TV Show Moments” to the stage to make fun of everyone and everything!  A recurring panelist on “Chelsea Lately,” Love reveals the dangers of drinking brown liquor with Chelsea Handler and why she would have kicked Chris Brown‘s ass.  Tune in Saturday, May 8 to see why Variety voted Ms. Love one of the “Top 10 Comics to Watch,” or if you simply want an explanation as to why Jesus was black and Noah was Mexican.

Being voted ‘Hot Comic in 2009’ by Campus Activity magazine was fitting for such an intelligent woman.  Growing up in the projects of Detroit, Love has a background of being a hard worker.  After attending Prairie View A&M University for Electrical Engineering, Love landed an engineering job in California.  Despite the normal job, she could no longer suppress her unrivaled sense of  humor and it wasn’t long before the hysterical Love became a regular on the Los Angeles comedy club scene.

Since 2003, Love’s credits include: “Soul Plane,” “Premium Blend,” guest spots on “Chelsea Lately” and “I Love the 70s/80s/90s,” as well as late night stops on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn.”  In 2009 Love had the incredible task of covering the inauguration of President Barack Obama as a CNN correspondent for “D.L. Hughley Breaks the News.”  2009 was a great year for Love and with this COMEDY CENTRAL stand-up special, 2010 is looking even better for America’s sister!
