ABC Family has ordered season 3 of the original drama "Kyle XY," a series that has become the network's signature show, from ABC Studios. Ten episodes have been ordered. A start date has not been determined yet as the show is currently in production on the back ten episodes of season two.
The sophomore season of "Kyle XY" posted increases over year-ago time period levels, increasing by 8% in Adults 18-34 (333,000 vs. 308,000) and by 2% in Women 18 -34 (209,000 vs. 205,000.) "Kyle XY" also stood as basic cable's No. 2 program in the time period in Female Teens (220,000), No. 3 in Teens 12-17 (319,000) and Females 12-34 (429,000) and No. 5 in Adults 12-34 (651,000.)
At KyleXY.com, over 1 million unique visitors generated 6.2 million page views during the show's sophomore season, an increase of over 100% over a year ago.
