I saw this movie twice. Once with my grand-daughter (age 5) who was a bit young to catch all of the humor. The second time I went with my husband and we both loved it.
A friend of ours is just like Carl. Sweet, grumpy and lovable. He lost his Ellie before they could do all that they had planned. Since watching the movie I always ask him if he bought any balloons lately.
